How can I keep my pictures under 150k? They are all closer to 400k...

When you save the picture as a jpeg file, set your software to do around a 50% compression. This will lose some of the fine detail in the picture, but not enough that you'll really notice. But it really makes a difference in the file size! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

It also helps to use a low DPI setting if you're using a scanner to get your pictures into the computer. 300 DPI will create monster files, yet a computer monitor only displays 78 DPI, so no one can see the difference in the higher resolution files. I set mine to 100 DPI, then use the 50% jpeg compression. Check out the pics under my member name in the new gallery and you can see how the pics will look.

Left a post in the Feedback Forum regarding the error I'm getting. Still getting it when I try to upload.
