Well with much regret I added this to our collection of rigs. I unforunatly got it from a good wheelin' friend that was in a tight spot for a better family vehicle. At least I could help him out a little and he knows that it is going to get taken care of.

No [censored]! I never liked the hood very much, how it "stands up".... But I definitly like the round wheel wells, and of course the full convert!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Just keep it the way it is, and when he has the family thing down and wants a rig - sell it back to him for the same price. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't plan on changing it a great deal, it is just going to be my daily driver. I salute him for taking care of his family. Takes a big man to let something go that he put so much it into over the years.

the specs are
350/465/dana20
D44/12b/3.73 front disc brakes
4" lift
35" MTR's
tom wood's drive shafts

Very Nice!!. I love the first generation Blazers--I've owned 3 in past years, one was a CST,two had the tach dashes.I see yours has the somewhat rare Dana 20 transfer case in it--I've only seen one or two of those in GM trucks, both were mated to 3 speed tranny's. I wish I could find another one ,only rust free this time--all 3 I had were rusted when I got them,I patched them up many times, one I kept for 8 years!--but all 3 were VERY rusty when I sold them, despite the many pounds of metal, welding rod,and gallons of POR-15--mother nature always wins the rust wars in new england. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

[/ QUOTE ] They have a very weak output shaft. I plan on looking for a 205 it already has a 4 speed instead of a 3 speed.
