you should build a full tube buggy kit that bolts onto a k5 frame, kinda like wally is right now. it would be more than a full roll cage but not quite a full on tube chassis buggy. you could sell them to many ck5ers who have bashed their bodies up, but have beefed their undercarriage along the way. it would be easier for us ck5ers who already have the engine, tranny, tcases, axles, suspension and tires mounted and in place but need the advantages of a tube frame body. i'm sure you could design it w/ extra strength and beef, but make it bolt, weld or simple fab on. this is just my .02

what do you all think???

i've seen those pics and that is more along the lines of a full on tube buggy. does it use a k5 front portion of frame? i'm thinking of a glorified full roll cage that mounts on an existing k5 frame, so that nothing besides the body has to be changed.

The UAV is the prototype for exactly what you descrbied. It uses the k5 frame and firewall and floorboard.

Yes, the UAV or Fox chassis can use "all" of the frame, I went with the ORD rear link kit so that is why the back few feet were cut off, but there will be a version to use the stock frame and stock rear suspension. In fact I believe there will be a two and four seat version as well, mine is a three seat version.
