choke sticking
I put one of those carbs on my old boom truck. Choke would stick now and then. ( only when I was in a hurry) I took choke butterfly off drilled a couple of 3/8 holes in it. That way if it does stick closed it should get enough air to start. So far it hasn't done it again. You might not want to do that on that truck. but after 2-3 days of trying to adjust it, you can give it a shot.( Its an old mopar trick.) Your truck is looking good. But will the first dent be on road or off road, that is the question?
