New PitBull Tires Introduced

air

I have to recommend the maximum air pressure for obvious reasons. That being said...some guys run them around anywhere from 25 to 35 without my approval or the approval of our company. It all depends on the weight of your rig, rim size, use, supsension...etc.

But to remind you....we do not know exactly how long the tread is going to last, on average...and I say average because there are tons of factors that affect tread wear...so each person is going to have a different experience.

Have fun.

GROWLER for Snow

I'd say if you want a tire for snow...go with the Growlers over the Maddogs.

They are a bit skinnier and tests have shown them to be a more road friendly tire for every day use. Plus tests have shown them to be an awesome snow tire.

We will have 33x1250s this winter...not sure exactly when though. And our 33x1250-16 will be a 10ply for workhorse applications.

I wouldn't think by looking at them they would do very well. We do alot of snow runs here in Montana. Some of the tires that perform better here are the Super Swampers and Goodyear MT/R's. The growler looks like a Baja Claw which does very poorly in the snow.

I love my MT/Rs but am looking for a new tire to try. I siped them when the were new and have almost 50K on them now. I was considering the Maddog but I need a good snow runner. Check out some of the snow run pics here.

this or that

its about time to get me some new tires..i have been running the 15/38.5/16 boggers but i'm down to nothing but side lugs, and they stil pull a little nothing like when they where new but well enuff that i have friends try'n to talk me out of the old boggers when i get new 1's, now my delimia...i can't decide if i want an identical set since they are only $226 each! or do i want your 39.5-16.5-16 rocker @ $273 each...i know the WOW factor will go up but i'm scared my buddies still running 38-39.5" boggers or 42" or 44" tsl's will walk all around me or be pulling me out all the time because thats gotten old since my tires are worn, but i could follow them just about anywhere with the 38.5 boggers when they were new...will the 39.5 rocker give me as much traction and performance as the boggers....i'm strictly in mud ....will they make me proud or will they be up for sale a couple of weeks after i get them? just wondering what to expect and doing a little homework before i buy because they are an awesome looking tire but they just don't look like they can keep up with the 4" long side lugs on the boggers? i would like to see a good shot of the sidewalls on the rockers is there any side lugs or just whats on the top of the tire?

I will take a pic for you tonight. I just got mine in a couple days ago. IMO, it will be hard for a rock tire to keep up with a bogger in mud. But I haven't tried it yet either.
