I have an 85 Jimmy that I use for hunting and playing in the hills, it's stock with 33X10.50 BFG AT's and a posi (3.08s) that I put in three years ago. I put a new 350 in it last year with an RV cam and headers. Swapped carb from original 305 and runs perfectly. It's a 4spd auto with np208. Here's what I'm planning.

4 inch Tough country lift (no blocks)

14 bolt FF 4.10s detroit locker

8 lug conversion on 10 bolt front and gearing change plus some kind of locker

35 or 37 12.50s

Is 4" lift ok for 37s? Will 10 bolt handle 37's?
Any advice would be appreciated before I order the lift.

Thanks

I think if you leave the front open you should do OK with 37's. If you lock the front I'd stick with 35's.

Any pic's?

Where in BC are you?:ears:

Nope. And your 3.08s will DEFINITELY have to go, brother, although it sounds like you already have that part figured.

ANd if you plan on keeping that 700r4, make sure that you install a quality stacked plate auxilliary tranny cooler.
