I AM BEYOND PISSED AT FEDEX!!! He knew it was damaged so he closed out the scan before he left the truck.
he wrote on a peice of paper my name and it was damaged.

He new it was damaged and tried to make a fast get away, closed ticket like it was delivered undamaged.
to bad i have cameras

Ya it looks like 3 of the cooling tubes are damaged and on might be cracked

When you file the claim, let them know what you can see on the camera. If the damage is visible, tell them that. It will expedite your process

has not responded yet being Saturday i probably wont get one till monday

its all of them and the way people do a sh!t job packing anymore .

i have had bad from fedex / ups / usps . . . lots of it could have been prevented with better packing protection tho . anyone who has got stuff from me knows how i pack stuff . :pimp:

I don't disagree that most outfits lack in the packing department, but short of putting the radiator in a steel box just how in the hell are you supposed to protect from getting stuck with a forklift?

Fed ex sucks. We see crap like that regularly at the dealer. Yet it's one of the ways GM parts uses to expedite overnight parts orders. They give zero focks over packages showing up in one piece.

looks like china paper thin cardboard .

yes i know you cant protect it all . but lots of stuff can be done to bring it to a much smaller damage level .

years ago when i stopped ordering from amazon was the metal mounts for electric motors i ordered to build my 2 air compressors . they boxed them in AIR BAGS and figured that be good . . . nope almost blown out the box es and bent mounting bolt/studs and un-usable . its this kind of crap that is happening more and more .

@Kain 's condition of his new radiator, is the sole reason I didn't consider online radiators. I am fortunate to have a good shop local, so there is that.
I still havn't heard word one from ebay seller regarding the super duty shaft, that was shoddily packaged, am going to leave a review saying so soon.
I did get a door window, off eBay.
Was sweating bullets it would arrive in one piece, it did. Well packaged going to give a good review there.
Hope Ebay steps up. Sucks to wait thou

Hate to say it but those Champion radiators don't last. They are bad. It sucks because they look real nice but it will be leaking in a year. Try and get your money back, not just a new one. We just changed out one in my buddys 89' burb for the fourth time last friday. They have all failed where the tubes meet the side tank. Other guys here have had bad luck too. I have the number for the warranty lady at champion when you need it.

ya thats the problem here the old guy that new what he was doing no longer works at the rad shop in Lubbock and the new guy couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper sack....................
