New soft top maker

That one looks better than the one on the site. The windows look to be more in proportion. Get some pics with the top down too.:wink1:

Yeah, I figured I would try to jump on it before they were unavailable again.

Will do. I'll try to get some more pics this weekend. But I'm pleased with it so far.
Like I said, though, it hasn't rained down here yet to test it out. They're talking about a chance of rain this weekend so maybe I'll get to run around in it...

Try to ignore all the dog slobber on the side of my Blazer. I shoulda washed it...

What are your initial impressions of the materials used. Does the frame seem to be made of quality material or is it flimsy and light weight. What do you think of the fabric. Is there anything that you were surprised by or feel like should be different.

Before I had the soft top, my Blazer fit in the garage. Now with the rails on the top, it scrapes the garage door pretty hard, so I have to put the top down to get it in the garage... But that's nothing against the soft top, it's just me griping about doing any labor.
The material seems great, very thick, durable material. The frame seems very durable and is in great quality.
There is one thing as far as the quality I may be concerned about over time. For the back window, to secure it down, the way they have that set up I'm not too sure about. And I'll get some pics of it in the morning. It's too dark right now, pics wouldn't turn out.
The way the have it is there's a bar that runs through the back window piece and kinda clips onto a "plastic C-clamp type contraption". Anyways, you have to pull down on the back window piece really hard to get it to go into place which puts ALOT of stress on that plastic piece. It may change, since the material needs to settle a little, but I'll get pics of it in the morning. Other than that, I think everything is great on it.

Thanks for the reply. I have been waiting for a Can-back for years!!! Looks like I may have to get one of these. More pics would be great!

Thanks,

Alright guys, bear with me. I'm about to throw a whole bunch of pics on here...
If any of you need pics of anything in particular, don't hesitate to ask.
I found a guy who bought one and he sent me pics of just about everything on it and it helped me in wanting to buy one, so please don't hesitate to ask for anything.
Enjoy...

Here is a pic of the setup for the back window piece. Like I said it may settle and change. The first time I put the piece on it was under alot of pressure, but after that it seemed fine. They have straps everywhere that kinda release tension and add tension for everything so now it's not under that much pressure.

Thank you for the pics. I like it. Something looks a little off but is probably the fact that I had my heart set on a Can-back. I will have to order one soon.

Thanks Again,

I see you are in DFW, where abouts? I am very interested in purchasing a new top as well and wouldn’t mind taking at look at yours if you don't mind.

Thanks for the pics, It looks better on your rig than the one on the website. May have to order one after all!

I wasn't too sure on these either when I first seen them, but that looks pretty dang good. Thanks for sharing.

That's what I thought too. Looking at their site, the pics weren't too good and they used a beater to display it on. I got hold of someone that bought one and he sent me some pics, so that helped me to go ahead and jump on it. But I'm very pleased with it so far.

do they offer a tinted window option yet? hopefully they alter any little things people dont like but it looks pretty good i think

I don't think they have the tinted window option. They do have a screened back window for like $50 more. But I think that's about the only option for it.
