Got my new tars and wheels put on just a bit ago. Huff, puff. Forgot to get those hub cover things though. So pull 'em back off after I gets those. Oh, new 4X4 Iron rear bumper kit laying there waiting on assembly. Whew, need my shop built!!!

Chrome! OMG there is CHROME on Dollar!

ahahahah

Looks good. Cant see the style of rim though. They 589's?

Someone has a good eye!

35X12.50X15 BFG MT's on Outlaw II wheels that just arrived today from fellow member paulmoon in California! Ride nice!!!

Chrome? Oh, yea! Bezels and bumper came off a '78 C-10 in the junkyard. Crushed already. I got the grill, but I didn't like it as good as the '73/'74 style. Hunting for one now. Might have'ta do something about how low the front receiver is. Make a mini pushbar/step if nothing else.

Ideas?

Get a spring loaded license plate frame and have the Receiver through the front bumper. When not needed the plate will hide it. About to do that to my 88 Burb. I miss that front receiver when putting that trailer on the side of the house.

Yeah that truck did ride nice on 35's. Its geared just right for them I think. It would cruise happily all day long at 65 on them. Motor has enough low end that I never felt it was lugging.

Now those 35s will be on the 4Runner. If one guy backs out on a ARB and 5.29 gears about 5 miles up the road I have my last major part needed before I order the suspension kit.

I still haven't decided what to do with the bumpers. They are still in my back yard. I thought I would cut them down for the 4Runner but I think I want to go tube like a Pre runner now.
