Just wanted to give an introduction since I’m new to the group. I’m Ryan,39,from Athens Georgia. I grew up riding in the back seat of several K5’s my dad owned over the years when I was a younger. Last one he had was an 87 Silverado he sold around 12 years ago. So after wishing he hadn’t got rid of it we started searching for another that us both could work on and enjoy together, cruising, car shows, etc. So we started looking for 2wd’s around 8 years ago. 6 years ago we came across an 3rd gen last year 2wd 1982 with better than average all original interior down to the carpet and had a 454 swapped in under the hood. I will attach pics of it to this post. Well since then we have bought and sold 6 other 2wd K5’s and just recently acquired one more that’s going to be another keeper as we have been looking for a 73-75 full convertible over the last 8 years since we bought the 82. The newest edition is a first year 2nd gen Spanish Gold 1973 2wd which has factory A/C,factory 4spesd with a 350,factory 3.73 posi rear end, factory roll bar and Cheyenne equipment package. A fairly uncommon find as most 2wd’s are but this one is harder to come by than most. Plans are to drive it now and enjoy it as is for now before the full tear down starts and a full restoration begins.36724390-7C90-4D33-B8EA-01A843E795BE.jpeg92837B62-8C2B-4630-88D0-EF9407E5CB08.jpeg4A3E049C-F11F-4FB2-BA32-ECFABF1480B2.jpegC0036230-487E-42E4-992C-3B055AAD0DB4.jpeg28E8D02A-54BC-4371-A198-58DEF2E0522E.jpegD4276C30-BC69-483D-ACA4-76186DFE310A.jpegA610349B-40C2-41FA-B183-7622CF8CCD44.jpegDCDAAD93-4703-45AB-A00C-96F352482F59.jpegBCD58D01-1AB3-4A5D-A076-EAE9E7F0077A.jpegCF44085F-998C-40D6-826F-95932C0E09F6.jpeg557A7CA4-FB7B-4635-92EB-9B7F08538407.jpeg6D8C5E79-5FEA-440C-A6B3-D4CDECD3E7E1.jpegE5651BBC-CA50-4D18-9925-369457A86C22.jpegCD8F08E2-F991-49B3-81E3-12739B356583.jpeg5FACFC70-2480-499B-BFB9-CD3AAB2BE8EC.jpeg4F5EB85F-B9AF-42F8-AC14-E066CF7C774E.jpegDFD9D51B-5F76-4845-AF9D-2E233B5AD7A7.jpegFAC1AA0B-C37D-4CEB-89F2-A83AA16AFCEF.jpeg

Nice Blazers! :saweet:
Who did the photography because those are some nice pics. We have a 2023 calendar that you can submit these two pics to (or any other that you like) for consideration. I think the second one would be best if it was just the bottom pic, but your choice. :waytogo:
And welcome aboard.

Preciate it! I done all the photography with my iPhone 13 pro. I will most definitely submit a photo for the calenda!

There is a 2wd 2 miles from my house that I have been slowly trying to acquire. It has not moved in 3 years. Was his dads. He will "restore it some day". Wife wants it gone.

Welcome aboard!
good looking trucks!
