New to this...

First off, welcome. Secondly, pay the $25 for full membership, and search, search, search. If you truely have that many questions, it will more than pay for itself. Most of the questions you have, I'm willing to bet they have been answered 100 fold.

Hi, I've got oh about ten thousand questions. What's the purpose of disconnecting the sway bar?

Welcome.

Disconnecting the swaybar gives you more flex offroad.

ORD sells disconnects if you really feel the need to keep it on your rig for street driving. A lot of folks around here have dumped it and have no issues.

I hall a trailer 2-5 times a week with no issues without the swaybar....But I do have stiff springs so that might make a difference
