I cant thank you guys enough for all your input. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif Even though it let to some disagreements between the better axles, you guys all have been alot of help. As an update, the truck that I was gonna get for $900 sold to some lucky guy, but Im stil looking. Depending on how the truck comes when I buy it, I will likely run what it has on it for awhile, whether its the Dana 44/Corp 10 front and hopefully the Corp 12 rear, although the K5s had those as standard set ups for only a few yrs. From what I have read, running that set up with 35s wont be too bad. Im sure I will need to change the gearing in them and possible get some lockers, but not sure what brand yet. When I do get into the hardcore climbing and rock crawling, I will be all for the 14ff or Dana60 axles, but as of now, I just want to go have fun on the mild to intermediate trails. Im sure it will become an addiction (just like any other outdoor toy) and I love that the offroading is like a brotherhood of friends all looking out for eachother. My main area of concern is finding a damn truck so I can begin joining you all and having a good time on the trails. If any AZ guys know of a good truck out there (that hasnt been too abused) and for fairly cheap, let me know. Exterior and interior condition isnt as crucial as the engine and drivetrain components, since I dont mind doing body work, and will likely be replacing most of the interior anyway. If its over a few grand, I will have to sell some current toys first probably...but, whatever it takes to get on with the fun. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
