New tool box on its way

Got word back today that the stainless top for the toolbox can still be used with the hutch. My co-worker will have his box and hutch tomorrow so i'll get to see if i really like the hutch or not. :thumb:

Well, i was out from work for 3 days (Drs order) and when I returned on friday we were too busy for me to really check out the hutch. I did find out however that the hutch is a hinge together deal and i'm not sure I like that. The rear panel is also a steel pegboard and not a flat steel back with pegboard inside like i had thought which doesn't make me feel happy about it either. I'll check it out better on monday. My guess though is that I could make a hutch for ALOT less than the $1190 they want for it.

I have to put my box back in service with my new job. I might want a hutch.

You and I have the same Mac box but I have the hutch and locker to go with mine. Mine just bolted to the stainless top. You drill 2 03 holes in it along the sides and 5 or 6 along the back and you're done.

Umm my box is the 84 inch and I think yours is a little shorter but I'd guess that it bolts on the same. Sorry I saw the size in the cart thread and forgot.

Guy buys a new toolbox and leaves out the most important info....sheesh.

Is it magnetic?

Have you mic'ed the sheet metal?
