New Transmission, quick question

i just had my transmission rebuilt, and i got a new torque converter with it. Since the torque converter is new do i have to dump any ATF in the converter before installing it?

The transmission is a TH400 (3L80) for a 1990 3/4 ton truck.

yes, dump 1 quart in it, it'll be good then.
don't just dunp it in, it will take awhile for it all to flow in. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
