1/2 ton status
I have browsed thru here a few times, but i finally saved my allowence and paid the 25 bones to join.
I own a 1972 blazer. Its a money pit. It all started 1 year ago when i bought this rig, looked killer, had a brand new powder coated motor. mild 7" of lift, some 35" BFG's and fairly clean. It had some issue's but nothing to major.
1 month later: blew the motor (broken push rods, 3 lobes left on cam). New crate motor took out the tranny, and the new tranny took out the rear end. Anyway that was the beginning of a domino train. I now own a $20K blazer thats worth 1/3 of that.
Oh well, it's fun to play with. The rig currently has 11" of lift with 225x75x15 so it is funny looking. but I just bought 3/4 ton running gear and 39x18 mickeys for it. So by next summerI'm hoping to be back on the road again.
