Newer ('88 +) GM Crawler Trucks *Pics* !

Yes, Mister Obvious. But why do people chose doing that, instead of something usefull ?

Well since you cant see the point of what I said, Ill go deeper for you....

What's useful to you may not be useful to somebody else. People have different interests and objectives with their hobbies. If their goal is to win a car show then how would making a rock crawler be useful to them? Another example of what you are saying would be a Camaro set up to be a drag car and another to be a roadrace car. Is one car more useful than the other?

Hehe, okay. *But*, why would someone destroy a perfectly nice Truck that could worked perfectly in multiple tasks, into a unusable supergay chrometurd ? Please dont, tell me that the truck is *useful* at ordinary pavement/daily driving. Its plain scary, and dont belong anywhere !

You misunderstood me... Some of the ones you posted are so extreme they are useless as a truck anymore.... Now that truck still has some use to it but does this one?

Actually, I answered on the exact question you asked - no misunderdstanding here. ;) Useless ? :eek1: I wouldnt say that Jasons Truck above, is a very good daily driver. But its 1000 times better/safer at DDing than the one with 40 inch lift and 30 chrome shocks ! And, I wouldnt say its a bad DD either, it might be a little big and a tad vibrating ? But with something transparent to cover up the upper part of the doors and some lighting - it'll do the job ! Do you have AC by the way, Jason ?

Various SFA Pics !

Some pics of various SFA Chevys, not anything super-exiting though, but cool nevertheless..

I don't think Jason even drives his on the street anymore. He has a Dodge to tow it with.

Useful is, as stated, different to everyone. I can see the fun in a show truck, there is nothing like rolling around the fairgrounds of a truck show drawing looks from kids to grandads. But then offroading is fun, though less glamorous. And as noted, I haven't met many girls that like body damage. We like to say "Chicks Dig Body Damage" but in reality, "Chicks Dig 2 things, Clean and Fast".

Thus why after the S10 is done, my next project will be a street truck. Either Diesel or something like a single cab short bed with a nice fuel injected blown or turbo motor.

Yup, A/C and Heat and CD.

My truck is useful for 4 wheelin, thats it's whole point in life, it has no other point... It actually drives really nice on the street and the suspension is super soft. I don't even feel it when I hit curbs, pot holes, children, etc... But it only gets 13mpg and my dodge gets about 18 around town and is a little quieter to drive.

Lets see, I built those sliders, the shackles, the oru hangers are my old ones, built the diff covers front and rear, and my old dana 60 is under the front, my old crossover steering... That truck is slowly turning into my truck using my old parts :D
