next project.. SAS my 99 burb

I thought you said you were going to leave this alone and use it as a tow rig... I wish I had a nice clean rig like that.... Well keep us up on what's next....

You don't only want it now and do it now, but you cann't leave well enough alone! Just like most females I know.....

no pics on the website, as its a brand new product. prices are pretty fair. their Toyota kit was like $275 shipped, i cant see this one being much more.

Man if thats the case I'll pick up an axle and sas my 94. The cost and or the time into fabbing my own is what made me buy a used lift and rebuild the whole front end.

once its SAS'ed i give it a month TOPS before something else gets modded on it. if its a Daily driver id leave it as is

My daily driver is IFS with a 149000 on it, no problems with the ifs yet except a broken swaybar mount on an a-arm

all good notes and comments,

here is my thinking..

1) its payed off

2) I tow, only in az, and maybe once a month if that sometimes

3) I just moved and will be loosing 40 miles a day off my commute..my gas for my business went from over a grand in june...at 130.00 a tank to maybe 100 bucks now, also noted I have the larger tires now already, and I want to go back to 4.10s in this. As well as my rear axle is on its way out, and my springs are bent in the rear and my front end needs an alienment and maybe a couple tie rod ends...

so there is the cost justification...

4) I just got my pick of two vehicles, with damage for under 2000.00, one is a loaded 96 jeep grand cherokee with the 4.0 and 60,XXX miles, option two is a 2002 chevy s10, needs a bed and a rear axle. so I wont be daily driving the burb much.

5) the girlfriend and friends lover the burb for outing and nights out so we can pile in drunk crazy people...but it is getting beat up from using it for work, and needs to go up in the air a little to get some style points.

6) I am now leasing space at my friends body shop, so parking is no longer a issue for all these cars, so each can have a place or need

7) did I mention my tires rub every time I turn into a driveway?

8) I do want a cummins or what not, but I dont have an interest in morgage size car payments, and right now I have none, low ins, low maint, and still plenty of enjoyment out of my trucks.

thats my thinking..

im stoked to hear this! cant wait to see product and prices:bow:

I saw some pics and prices on the website for the rear hanger and shackle for the front spring. They had some other pics of the front spring mount thing, but no pricing.

It appears to me that you can get the shackle mounts and shackles for $200, which seems reasonable to me.

Jeremy - Are you planning to order a kit as soon as it's available, or will it be a while?

i've technically got an order placed, however, i'm going to see about the 2" kit they've mentioned on their website, so it may be a while longer. the 6" kit, which is on the prototype truck in the pics, will put me a little taller than is practical for what i want to use the truck for.
