I installed my tach, spliced in to the green dimmer wire coming from the headlight switch. everything was fine, tach light worked, dash lights worked except for 1 bulb, the one for the voltmeter and oil pressure. I reached up under the dash and wiggled that bulb socket to try to get it on, now I have no dash lights except for my tach, the buzzer that goes off when your headlights are on does not work either. I've checked the green wire at my splice and it is fine. The green wire is hot where it comes out og the headlight switch but is not hot where it plugs in to the dash. Does that wire go anywhere else? or does it just run straight to the dash?

Found a blown fuse. I got my test light and checked everything, then thought about the fuse. :doah: Sometime you forget about the simple things.

yep, and I've had one light that never worked, the one on the right side of the gas gauge. Its a pain in the butt to get to, got my hand up there replaced the bulb, cleaned the contacts, still no light. Got my extra instrument panel and looked and the one I keep pulling out is the brake light. :doah: Found where that light is and had to pull the radio to get to it but replaced the bulb and socket, now all my dash lights work.
