No Power?

After reading and re-reading banks instructions I realized I did not properly thread the guide pin through the spring on the injection pump properly when re assembling the injection pump. I re-installed it properly. At the same time I adjusted the vacuum thing? on the passenger side of the IP. Now I have "0" power. What is the thing on the side with vacuum hoses for? I thought I was adjusting how the transmission shifted? I tried to re-set it to where it was but nothing.

The thing on the side with the vacuum hoses is your throttle position sensor (TPS). One hose goes to your transmission if you have the TH400, the other hose goes to your cruise control if you have that.

You said you were reassembling the IP--what was it disassembled for?

I just had the cover off to adjust the injection pump, per banks in structions.
