noisy nv4500

end play is ok about 7 or 8 1000s . started truck today and no vibration on release bearing fork, so i think noise is coming from transmission. truck will be going too paint shop with transmission floor cover on so we will see the difference in noise then!

Man, I don’t know what to tell you 
. Everybody I know that used a Dodge NV4500 for this swap changed the input shaft to a GM input shaft. In hindsight, doing that may have been a better way to go for you in the long run now that you have ran into issues. I still suspect you have something going on in the release bearing more so than the transmission itself but hard to say for sure without being there. What clutch, pressure plate and release bearing application did you use? GM or Dodge?
