noJeeps 2001 duramax Frank - new headlights

I am having him make a sticker for the front bowtie, just haven't decided on a design yet.

I like the cleaner look too. But I kept trim you didn't, and you still have my #1 "get that off there" sticking point. They day I bought mine from the dealer, I had that 4x4 sticker, dealer name, and everything except the belt line door guard rubber removed before I would take delivery. I also left the Duramax fender badge on mine. So not as clean as your's, but I've been happy with it.

That 4x4 sticker is very difficult to remove and I don't mind it. And I'm going to relocate the duramax badges to this location on the fenders.

Yeah, I was really glad it was new, so no fade issue, and their body shop had to do the work! :woot:

Looks good up there.

You should go all the way and take the 4x4 decals off too. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the sticker up. You want it hot, but not so hot you cant touch it.

Changed the oil today, installed Shell Rotella synthetic blend, it was only $18 a gallon at Wally Mart. We'll see if that takes care of the blue smoke problem...

Also changed out the rear output seal on the transfer case, and needed to replace both drain plugs. Well, the drain plug and the filler plug, whatever. Guess how much the replacements were? You're probably low, higher, higher still. Yeah, $20 a piece! :ignore: But... if it stops the final leak under this truck, it'll be worth it.

Fantastic. Gotta count my blessings though, as it snapped just as I pulled into my parking spot at work, could've popped while I was doing 70 on the interstate in traffic. Guess I know what I'll be doing on my break.
