NON Chevy’s in the Wild

I got to drive a mid-seventies one of those back when I turned wrenches for a living - they were a blast to drive!
The side to side room was pretty tight but surprisingly it had decent leg room.
Also they are great to work on - plenty of access room under the hood and well thought out.

Still a Fe enginge, G code iron 4 barrel intake, 1406 Edlebrock, NP435 4speed, D24 tcase (Devorsed NP205 avail under my bench) single 3" Dynomax mufler.

Cross over power steering, hydroboost power front disc brakes, big ball Dana 44, D60 in rear, 4.56. Additional 4" of lift.
67 F600 instrument cluster.

Nice!

I remember the first time I ever took apart a big-ball Ford Dana44 and saw the big axle joints - I had to take a double look at the chunk to make sure it wasn’t a Dana60.

A couple more from the garage in NH including the Ford ramp truck that was still working for a living.

Good looking Ford owned by the family that runs this little stand in VT. Looking like a little one wheel peal earlier in the day.
