When I was turning wrenches for a living I was given an Eldorado just like this one to work on - car came from another shop due to issues.
I got it with the motor packaged up in the trunk disassembled and all the hardware in coffee cans - I think it was a F.I. 4.1 V-8 with that 4-6-8 cylinder drop option.
Being low man on the totem pole it was my headache to figure out - two full days later it was sorted out, inspected, built, installed and running and purring like a kitten.
I was praised for my efforts but figuring out all the front ( transverse motor with absolute no room ) motor brackets nuts and bolts was a frigg’n nightmare!
I just put the radio on low and went to work and didn’t stop until it was done and done right.
Everyone’s gotta pay their dues but some lessons are earned with a little more sweat equity then others.
