NON Chevy’s in the Wild

First time I've ever seen a Nissan GT-R around here.
And it's on a 30* day lol.

A young engineer at work bought one several years ago and took me for a ride one day and I gotta admit that the acceleration was amazing!
He already had the wick turned up on it with more boost and tuning but I imagine that bone stock is damn impressive too.

If I was handed $125k and told I had to buy a new sports car, it'd be hard for me to choose between one of those and a vette

It's my go to car on 'Grand Turismo' lol.

A buddy of mine went wheeling up at Stoney Lonesome yesterday with these non-Chevys.
The red buddy had a turbo LS in it and one of the buggies was running a BBC with dual steering Dana 80’s with those enormous knuckles and axle joints while most of the others had RCV’s and Dana 60, 70 and 14B axles and regular LS powered.

Apparently they all had a great time wheeling yesterday at that off-road park because he is now selling his modified Razor and building a buggy for himself.

I went to a not a car show get together today, a fair amount of 4wds last year but just a few today, a little cold but beautiful weather for it.

(overall turnout was good but I didn’t take a lot of pics)

Is that Rads old Dodge ?

And you’re right about JR. - he called me up this evening on his way home discussing all the details of what he will build.
His buggy will be much more mild; he already has a 4BT/TH400 and dual steering D60’s with 5.38’s - selling his Razor will fund the suspension and hydraulic steering parts and I don’t know what transfercase he’ll end up using.
I guess all his talk of having too many projects is out the window…

John, were these guys mud racing back in the 90’s when we were in the game?

Yes, the owner's name is Will Fauver, he used to have an early Bronco named Showdown that was faster that SH!T! That 79(?) Bronco was built later and belonged to his son that was killed in a motorcycle accident. Now, every November Will has a come & go as you please meet at his place in honor of his kid. Will is real nice, just a good ol boy type. We talked a bit about the old races and such, he sold the EB a long time ago since there's nowhere to race reasonably close now.

When I first saw it I thought it was a dually Durango but the closer I got and when I passed it it looked bigger than a Durango.
