The D60 calipers mount way differently than d44 calipers. They way I have them on the axles must be really really really wrong, but I don't have any spare pieces laying around, so I don't know where I went wrong.

They have pads just floating between the rotor and the caliper (they can't go anywhere, but they sure jiggle a lot and aren't fastened to anything). The calipers themselves are just floating on the mount (again, they can't go anywhere, but they can jiggle a lot). I am sure my description isn't that helpful, so I shot a quick video on my phone and put it on youtube. I can't believe that the way I have it is the way gm intended. The calipers on the d44 I just took off don't wiggle or jiggle at all (neither do the pads).

You are missing the slide and spring that go under each caliper, they are held in place by the bolt that is in the caliper bracket.

Go to your local parts store and get a brake hardware kit for a 1-ton front - they're about $10 and have what nvrenuf told you that you need.

Thanks guys, I am picking up the hardware in the morning (napa part # UP 82135A). I am assuming this has everything that I need, if not - let me know what it's missing. Thanks.

you need to "pinch" the upper ears down on the outer brake pads to lock it to the caliper, or they will squeak and rattle like a mofo.
and also the brake pad will be loose until you pump up the brake pedal and take up the gap between the rotor, pad and caliper.
