Ok some of the studs are messed up on thr rear 10bolt. I have never done anything on a axle. i took the cover off and i think i see the snap ring for the axleshaft. you do have to pull the shaft right? I dont know what im doing. so any help would be great.

What studs? Do you mean the axle c-clip?

If you are talking wheel studs, you can take the drum off and knock them out of the axle with a hammer, then use a lug nut and a big nut to pull the new stud in. Or you can pull the 5/16 head bolt out of the carrier in the diff, drop the pin, pull the c clip, then pull the axle out and do the studs.
