OK, couple quick questions. I'm about to get started on installing my York onto my engine (6.2 diesel). Makes most sense for me to put it above the power steering pump because of spacing issues, and it was originally where the A/C was mounted, so I've got a little bit of the stock bracket left. Can I solid mount this pump to the engine bracket and simply use the power steering pump as my tensioner? I can't see any reason why I couldn't do it this way.... unless another of my suspicions is incorrect:
Does it matter which fitting I use as the inlet and outlet? I mean, does it matter which way the pump shaft rotates? Seems like it shouldn't matter - which ever way the pulley turns will determine which fitting is my inlet/outlet.
Thanks.
