Norcal_Chris 95 Jeep build (Snowball) TH350 gurus

Few small issues. Needed a new radiator cap, and engine skid slightly hit front driveshaft. Other than that it runs and works great

Loaded it up for a quick shakedown at prairie city on thurs. Then on fri drove out to sand mountain and beat on it there. On way back today stopped at Wild West Motorsport park and ran the track there.

I guess I missed what gear ratio you were running but I was curious how you liked the gearing setup with the 205 now that you've had seat time?

I have 5.13s.

Gearing goesnt seem that bad. I can haul in low range and it still crawls decent. Before I blew the trans up it was climbing whatever I wanted pretty much.

However I feel a extra low would be nice for the technical stuff I do. So I need to figure out if I want the length of a doubler, or sacrifice my low range top speed for a 3.8-1 atlas or the like

My rig is also fairly light. I'm guessing right at 4k. Maybe even under. So that might play into it

Super fun weekend. Buggy did awesome. Had some trans issues at extreme angles fri night, added another 1.5qt and it solved them. Gave a bunch of people rides and had a blast. Did some high speed desert stuff and got up to 88mph (great Scott). Blew my front r&p sat night due to copious amounts of right foot.
