Started with trimming the front fenders to a complete makeover.
New PS Pump
New Gearbox
Fix rusty floor
All new weatherstripping and seals
Move Front axle forward 1"
Wired Headlights with relays and 12 Ga. Wire directly to Alternator. Now all 4 come on with High Beams. What a difference!!
New Front Winch Bumper from Kert at DIY4X
Complete Paint Job
And what started this whole project. New Shoes... 37" Maxxis Creepy Crawlers.
All that is left is to Install the winch and maybe lock up the front with an Eaton E-locker. Or go with a D60. Will see how the 30 Spline 10 Bolt holds up.
Lots of Pics in the gallery. Just a few samples here.
Getting ready for the knife...

Nice

I like how you did the front portion of your front fenders. I just cut mine off and welded the seam accros. Again, nice job :waytogo: How long did it take from start to finish? Mine is still stripped down waiting for funds so I can get all new rubber...

Blazindorito,

Kert told me a 9500 would fit. I will try to fit a 12,000 on it.

IZZY,
It took me close to 3 months. I did all the body prep myself and brought it to a friend of mine to paint it in his booth. Go here and you can see more pics of the fender cut. http://www.m4x4a.org/index.php?module=mGallery2&g2_itemId=41985

Yeh know about funds for the rubber.... Cost me more to replace the rubber than the supplies to paint it. Including using Dupont paint instead of Nason (Cheaper Dupont)

Bumper

What is the name of that bumper or part number. I know they have several so I was just wondering which that one was. Nice rig.

It is the UD1 on a diet... Kert made some mods to slim it down since I cut over 2" off the nose of my front fenders.

Whole rig looks outstanding!

You can probably bolt a 12 on that bumper but once you get into the 12000's you should have the feet forward as opposed to down like that bumper is set up for.

We nicknamed that one the Max Factor. Maximizing on approach angle.
