Well, Ive been showing the honda's what older diesels can do, and ive been doing some pretty harsh shifting. When i got the truck it grinded a little bit going into 3rd. now i can get er to grind in 2,3,and 4. ...5 spd powerstroke..Question is, should i just throw some new blocker rings in and call it good or??? still has the DMF which sucks. What are my options here?

off topic but I want a 97 CC PSD for a dd/tow, what are you getting for mpg?

is that the nv4500 in yours?

IIRC, you need a special tool to take apart something on that trans, don't remember what, but I think it it might be the input? You sure the clutch is engaging all the way?

Sounds like a clutch problem to me too.

Check that the fluid is full and make sure the system is bled (with no leaks).

definatly not a clutch problem, comes in mainly on the downshifts, i checked my cylinders to make sure there was no leakage. I did pick up a SMF for it and a new clutch... just not sure what to do with the tranny. Hopefully I can get all the crap off my hoist at work and fix the flywheel this weekend
