In this location, the tach is in my line of sight and easy to read and I don't have to take my eyes off the road to read it, the was no additional drilling, cutting, etc to mount the tach in this location. If someone wishes to harass me about being "ricer," they can just jump up and kiss my big ole hairy a$$!

Agreed, that's not rice...it doesn't have an indiglo gauge face and it is actually hooked up to the engine unlike a lot of the rice cars I see.

if you could find a 75-79 camaro or nova tach then you could install it inside instrument panel if you could find small fuel guage from big truck. car tach looks almost identical to truck guages, especially 67-72 trucks guages too

Yeah, I don't know what instrument cluster I got my tach and fuel gauge out of (stole it from my Dad's pile of stuff, he thinks it came out of a Monte Carlo).

My point is he gets called a ricer cuz its a 4runner with the tach on the pillar, I never said he drove a k5...

mine is like robs.. it is slightly to the right, and doesnt block anything except the idiot lights on the fuel gauge.
