hello iv had my blazer for about a year and a half now and the thing is a big ugly lookin rig that KICKS ALOT OF ASS. I have the part time kit in the 203 right now and somethings out on it it slips out of high lock leaving me in high when I really need it and it grind and sounds terrible moral of the story time to fix her. My question here is weather or not the part time kits preform well enough to replace or should I put it back to full time 4wd, I have heard many negative comments on how it saves little to no gas and how they just suck?

Sounds like its your shifter is slipping out of position. The 203 is a good t-case, they just came with crappy shifters.
Had the same problem, fixed it by installing ORD's twin stick.

yes, twin stick it. you can make your own from 2 stock shifters.

would be wise to install the part time kit also. will save from extra wear on your front end parts.

If you look in my build I took apart the original shifter and made a twin stick from it. I just recently upgraded it with thicker metal.
