i saw this in a mag a month or so ago and now cannot find the magazine, its a 4:1 low range gear replacement for the np205, i thought this would be a cool idea for my twin sticked 205..... any ideas? has anyone seen this article or know someone using it?

thanks

Currently there is no low gear set for a 205 on the market. If you search here for "LoMax" you will find a thread about 3:1 gears that are in developement literally for years.

You only options for additional reduction and a 205 are Doubler, KluneV or Atlas.

most likly a dubler kit. 203 gear box with special plate and bolted to 205. this is 2.0 in box and 2.0 in case. all together is 4.0 low.

I have done several "upgrades" on mine.

nice bearing retainers. For anyone wondering, a guy over on pirate machines those. They are definitely nice. Two best upgrades you can do to a 205... 32 spline front output and twin-stick.

well its 32 spline front and rear, heavy duty bearing retainer, attached to a 203 :D

Im new here to this forum. I have some questions about my 205 in my 76 K15. Im having problems with the front output leaking. I changed all seals and gaskets on my t-case and trans (SM465), front and rear end

The yoke I have had real bad seal grooves in it. I put a speedy sleeve on it. My question is when I put the new oil seal in the retainer I know the rubber side is out. My question is does it set in the retainer all the way down or does it sit flush to the face side??

Any info would be super. I put on the sppedy sleeve, new seal (only put in flush to the front, not pushed all the way in to the stops. Bolted it all back up still leaking.

Any thought guys.

If the yoke is as bad as you say then just get a new yoke. Could be a great time to upgrade :cool1:
