yes maybe to much info. Was reply to post above it where spline counts and adapters were mentioned. either way SM465 T case adapter won't work for a th350.

Np203 swapped 205???

There are different styles of shifters and lengths for the linkage from the shifter to the tcase. Some shifters are shorter then others. Some shifters are chromed and others are painted black. I don't know the application of each type. Also the bolts for the shifters are different. Some bolts have a grease zerk fitting. I have several variations and intend to try out different lengths of the the np205 shifter. The current shifter is from a 72 K5 in the 78 K5. It is too tall IMHO. I liked the np203 shifter that was lower to the ground.
