My transfer case took about a week of after work monkeying around to rebuild (about an hour to two hours each evening). This included cleaning all of the parts myself. If I had it to do over again, I'd pay a machine shop to clean the parts after I'd disassembled the unit. The entire garage smelled like burnt cat pee for months after I did the job.

Just fitting a new transmission before stripping and cleaning frame. Will get into TC soon. The manuals are on the way.
