NP205 to SM465

Hi would just like to know what input shaft I need to get to put the NP205 on my SM465/ My Blazer is an 85 so it's 32 spline and I have herd that the 32 spline long shaft from a NP205 to Turbo 400 will work. Is that true or will i have to find a specific type of input shaft to put it on the SM465. Also will the adapter housing I have still work? It is the one I got with it. The Np205 is a 70 model and it has the 10 spline with the coupler.

The old NP205's don't have the round pattern, so no point in getting the 32-spline input. Even if you find a round-pattern NP205, you need the adapter too - the NP208 one you have is too short.

IMO, find an SM465 with a short/coarse output.

Thanks for the Info I guess I'll have to use the SM465 I got with it
