I'm looking for the blue or gray drive gear that goes on the output shaft. I could also use a green or blue driven gear as well.

For the cost of shipping these days, you can buy them new from your local chevy dealer still. Last one I bought was $9.

Try another dealer by phone before you believe it... I think the parts guy was being lazy. I just bought a new gear for my '83 about 2 months ago.

If I get the time I will see what I have, I have a few parted so I might have what you need.
Don't hold your breath though, I am away from home a lot and when I get home I don't have too much time and sometimes I forget what i was supposed to look for :doah:

Sounds good, Thanks!

I'm also going to try a few other dealers.

After talking to several dealers I've found that the blue and gray speedo drive gears have been discontinued for the NP208. Some dealers still have left over stock, which is the only way it appears to get new ones.

So basically, I'll be paying for shipping regardless of if I buy new or from someone here, as none of my local dealers have them in stock. Junkyards are only willing to sell the entire case, and I don't blame them for that.
