My truck has been making some funny noises when it shifts from 1st to 2nd, and you can feel some isn't right in the floor pan when it shifts. Found out it has a bad trans mount, but, I also started shaking things down and when I grab the driveshaft it wiggles up and down about 1/16"-1/8". The yoke is what's wiggling in the tail shaft housing.
Just checking, but that's not good, right? I know I can get a new tail shaft bushing, but I'm not wasting anymore time on this 208.

Sounds like you're swapping something else in. That's a little excessive on the output shaft play. Is it leaking from the seal? Mine moved a little but never leaked. When it started leaking it was worn so bad it got into the case.

I have a 203/205 just need to get an adapter from NWF. I've just been procrastinating putting it in b/c I didn't want to buy the adapter, get new shafts, and make a crossmember. I guess it's about that time though.

It's not leaking enough to say it's leaking. There's some ATF that's been slung onto the bottom of the trans tunnel, but that's it.
