If you can't get one on here, keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. I snagged one for $50 last summer. It spins free and the shifter works. I have not cracked it open yet. I couldn't resist for the price.

They are probably still cheap around you, it just seems like it don't see them as often around here. Too many guys who won't run anything but a 205 in a street truck, ended up sending a lot of early aluminum cases to scrap.
I used to be able to find them for $30 to $50 for a while. Last one that I found a couple of years ago, I don't see them as much nowadays.
Yep, I've searched mkt place for locals selling em, and Craigslist too, but haven't found anything. Initially I looked for a 243 or 245 pass drop, but they aren't easy to find either, so i grabbed yhis 208 when i saw it online. Not my FIRST choice, but...

The shaft is what I am after, I am trying to finally finish my fixed yoke setup.
If you need the shaft then I can do it with any parts for $100 plus shipping which I don't know what it would be but less than a full case probably.

Ideally the mainshaft is all i need, and it'd be cheaper to ship than the entire TC. Is it SYE ? i makes no difference to me which.
