NP241 - NP208 swap question

I found an NP241 with electronic speedo that was behind a 700r4. I'd like to put it behind my SM465 replacing my NP208. Do I have to swap the NP208 "input shaft" with the NP241 "input shaft" so the splines match my SM465 output?

i cant be 100% but i think thay dont swap from 208-241. but any 241 with 32 spline from pass or drivers drop (88-up) will work.

someone will chime in for sure.

Exactly.
If it's 32 splines it will. This one is 27.
And no you can't swap the input from the 208. You need one from a 241

thanks, so that means it is a no go for any NP241 that came behind a 700R4 unless i have 32 spline input shaft from another NP241 to put in? right

th350 and 700r4 = 27 spline

th400 and 4l80-e and newer 465 = 32 spline.
