Swapping input in my 241 but it didn't come apart very smoothly and parts kinda went flying so I didn't get to see which way the synchro sleeve was installed. The groove for the shift fork is offset I'm just unsure if the thicker side goes towards the input or towards the output. It seems to goe on fine either way...

Really tough to tell but looks like the wider side goes towards the I put side of the case to me...? I haven't put mine back together completely yet but the way it's mocked up right now I have the wide side towards the output

When you look at the internal "teeth" of the mode slider, one of the leading edges of the "teeth" will be tapered so that they engage the front output easier. Hope that makes sense.

Yep think I got it. The edge with the tapered teeth is facing towards the output end. Seemed like that way it engages the synchro better. Correct??
