nv4500

To mate a np203 to nv4500. You have to have a 32 spline input on the 203. Ditch the adaptor for the 203. Plug the adaptor mounting holes w/ allen set screws. Stake the screws a punch to lock them in place. Mount the 203 straight to the back of the nv4500, using the round bolt pattern of nv4500. Drill & tap new holes. 1 hole will need to be modified,(if looking from the rear upper right) moved inward towards center. Hope this helps Ed

Since the 5600 is massive and the bellhousing is integral, I don't think it's the best choice, a 4500 should give you good service in a lighter duty truck. I'm talking lighter duty than towing 20K# plus all the time, the 4500 is a good tough trans.

We have a couple of good sources for the NV4500s along with bellhousings and clutch pieces, PM or call and we'll see what we can do.

He's dead on with the mounting procedure for the 4500/203.
