On top of the NV4500 there is a 2 wire plug, is this for the reverse lights? I'm removing a TH400 and was wondering how to wire this in. Also this is going into my M1008 and I've been using petersen's article as a guide. they said the hole in the floor for the shifter followed existing markings but my measurements put the hole overlapping the existing hole for the transfercase shifter on the 1 corner (I'm keeping the NP208 by the way) anyone else do this already? everything else seems to be going smoothly except I have a non-hyd pedal assembly I have to modify, didn't know the difference when I picked it up, already out of the vehicle. thanks in advance.

The reverse light wiring is actually a seperate harness, so you can swap between auto and manual that way.

No idea if the NV4500 uses the same weatherpack connector as the later ('85+ or so) 465's.

My th400 had one wire this has 2, does one wire go to ground?

According to my '91 manual, one side is 15amp fused 12V, the other side goes to the taillights.
