I have one rally rim out of my set that has slightly oblong lug nut holes. Should i be concerned? What can I do to make sure I have no problems once putting it on the truck?
If it's hub centric I bet you'll be fine. Meaning the center of the wheel fits exactly over the hub. In that case the wheel center takes the vehicle load not the lugs. The lugs just hold it on.
Most a/m wheels are not hub centric and rely on the lugs to center and hold the wheel on. For this I wouldn't trust wallowed out holes. You said rallys so I would think this is not your case.
I have found a lot of the rally wheels with the lug nut seats wallowed out. I will not use one. Someone left the lugs a little loose and/or put them under a lot of strain and never retightened them.
