most people use 4l80 because there was only 1 version made and it was 4l80-e . saves time like all other short terms you guys use that i havent gotten all of yet.

Now could you explain the 4l60 to me? The 4l80-e was never made in a non electronic version. But i think there is a full manual valve body that will fit the 4l80-e but then you alwasys have to do all your own shifting
