For my Big Bear, it's not really any different than carrying it in my shortbed with the ladder rack on it (we lay a sheet of CDX in the ladder rack for carrying drip edge and flashing too, so there's no headroom when you're loading it). The rear floorboards are what, a little under 6'6" long, still 48" wide...only difference with the shortbed is that the cab is vertical whereas the front seats in a K5 slope backward and hit the bumper on the ATV.
Wish I could find some pictures from back in the day when my whole family drove ATVs. We would have the King Quad in the shortbed, the 125 above it on the ladder rack (loaded it up there on 2x12s), behind that truck was a car hauler with a 1973 Amerigo pickup camper chained down, under the cabover section of that was just enough room to fit the Honda Fourtrax on the car hauler. Then the half ton had a Big Red in the bed and was towing a 2 place sled trailer with 2 or 3 ATVs on it. We looked like the Clampetts lol.
For height, dropping the bars and/or tire pressure might work, for width, im sure the tires/wheels are the widest portion, not like a dirt bike where you could chop the end of the bars.
I used to carry a 300ex and 400ex in my blazer with the top on. I would fold the rear seat up, and put the quad in backwards. The handlebars wouldnt go under the roof, but it would squeeze in far enough that the front tires would be on the tail gate. I just strapped it down there with the gate open.
I had a friend that used to carry an atv in his blazer. Dont remember what model atv but like mentioned back seat was out and he had to leave the tailgate down but it did fit
I used to put 2 raptor 350's in the back with the top off. First one standing straight up and the second wheeled in behind it. 40 inch tsl tires and 4-10 gearing made for a very unhappy Blazin goin down the highway.
If you have bucket seats and depending on how big of a 4wheeler you might be able to get the gate close. Hell it will be so wedged tight you wouldn't even need to strap lol
