I'm disassembling a stupid *(^@#$*($& propietary piece of computer equipment, and the manufacturer went wild with Torx fasteners. Thankfully they're just regular shaped ones, not those evil "security" ones... BUT. I would *swear* that some are smaller than a T-10, like a T-7 or something. Does such a thing exist?
Also frustrating is the amazing torque that was used to put these boogers in, so I'm having great difficulty getting them out (and we're talking T-20 here, not big ones) even with a 1/4" drive ratchet.
Grrrrrrr.
Anyway, any observations on the existence of small sizes welcome, plus any other helpful hints other than "drill the bastards out" which is my next plan.
And yeah, the tip on my cheapo driver wore out, so I'm using decent a Craftsman hand driver plus some fairly nice 1/4" drive ones (Lisle, I think).
