Off Road Light Mounting

I've been thinking about making a bumper like that when I get a winch, but I do not have a tube bender, so it would probably be made from steel square channel with steel diamond plate on the front.

Edit: Yeah that is a good idea but I will have to take it off when I put the doors on, but no biggie that's why they make sheetmetal screws.

I really like 'em. THey are really tough. They are my 1st set of offroad tires, but I like them so far. they are pretty quiet on the road no humming to speak of. They worked pretty good on some trails that I went on. For now the truck sees a lot of the street, so they are the best of both worlds. Some people I know bought the yokohama geolanders for their trucks and the get stuck every time. The MT's do really good in the snow too, they clean out really nice. I really like them.

You have a decently loud exhaust system on your truck,,,,don't you :p:

I had the BFG M/T's on my Burb for awhile, yes they provided some awsome traction off road, but they are FAR from quiet. Not nearly as loud as say swampers, but you WILL hear them with a stock style or similar exhaust setup. Basically if your truck is quiet, you'll hear them :wink1:

You can also feel the lugs "vibrating" the truck some too as you run down the road, weird tires, i went back to BFG A/T's

Hey Uncle Fester

What did you do to mount the expanded metal? Make brackets? I want to gain more space. Loosing the plastic grille is something I'm looking into.

Thanks
