Off Road Ltd's 73-91 K5 Front Coil Over Conversion

Free Shipping

Looks nice.

Does the $4600.00 pricetag include shipping?

Yes, if you call us directly and say that you saw it on Colorad K5 we will ship for free and let you pick the color powdercoating (if you want something other than black) and it's a standard color from Cardinal Industrial Finishes.

Slick looking kit! :waytogo: Seems like making it to work with a Dana 60 frontend and making shifting the front axle forward about 2-3" an option would be two factors that might help it's sales considerably though.

The 60 option should be done in 30/60 days (we are working to get the 4 link rear end and some other goodies done for Moab).
There are some issues that you face when trying to move the axle that far forward. Mainly the issues with the steering box/location of trac bar & shock hoops just to name a couple.

I was just thinking the other day about when and if I get my next project underway, that I'd love to coil the front and 4 link the rear. The cost does seem a little steep but it's like the old saying goes "Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?" It's supply and demand. A D60 front could probably be had for a couple hundred bucks 10 years or so ago. Just my $.02 :D

Any update on the Dana 60 kit? How about that sick looking bumper on the back of the test blazer?

I disagree with the supply/demand thing in this particular case. Id be interested to know how many kits have sold. That price is 99.999999% of the reason most wont buy it. Most have Trail trucks that arent even worth that much. While Id luv to have the kit. I cant see spending that money. Now if it was front AND back kits, id be all over it. Which to me would seem about right to convert. I dont know if its priced so only the elite get can afford them and you guys dont have to make so many or what. oh well. Nice looking product though

Its nice because it looks easy to install but anyone with some fab skills could make a similar kit built to your own specs for a lot less money. If you had more money than brains and fab skills it would be a good kit.

We just finished the proto on the front.
The rear bumper was something that we just built to go out to Moab with. We have had a couple request - that will be something that we will have to look into next.
