1976 Chevy K-10 Camper Special with a wood bed. Small block 406(bored .030 over), 2.02/1.60 valves in polished and ported heads. Eagle crank,scat 5.7 rods,speed pro hyperutectic pistons(10:1 CR). Comp cams xtreme energy cam. Software says 500 ft/lbs of torque.
Built 700R4 transmission, np203 transfer case, 3.08 gear ratio.

Yeah it does twist around alot!! All my friends worry that the cab is gonna fall off someday, but I tell them that it cant cause the steering colum has to hold it on.

Yea, that's one reason I want to try to keep 6 lug axles. I have always loved those wheels, and they were on it when I got it. Plus, they don't make em anymore.

This was my first K5. 89 with tbi350/th400/205 1 tons with 4.56's and 35's were on it in the pic. I think this was in 2001.
Current K5 all stock in 2002.
Sitting on 1 tons. 4.10's and locked.
Playing around back in 05.
This is in 06 right after I painted it and did the cage. I also added the beadlocks and a winch along with a few other things.
These are in 2007.
Then over the winter in early 2008 I made a bunch of changes. It started as a simple engine swap that turned into the engine, clocked t case, 1" body lift, relocated shocks, spring hanger in the front, cutting out the rockers for new sliders, fabbed new bumpers, and some other changes.
And this is the new tow rig/daily driver. 92 F250 460/5spd with 90k on it. I couldn't pass it up for the $2500 price with the low milage and being super clean for the year.

I got the 90 stock. Pics are in my gallery.
Added 4inches and some 35's
We wheeled it for a few years.
Then two years ago I had a little differential issue.
It is currently under the torch for some updates.
I'm not much for taking pics.
